Meet our #WomanCrushWednesday -Ritah S Matonsi, El Meet our #WomanCrushWednesday -Ritah S Matonsi, Electrical Engineering intern at Zimplats ,5th year at University of Zimbabwe She has an passionate about motivating young girls ,trying out new recipes in the kitchen and travelling and through Tea In 60, Ritah was mentored by our inspiring mentor Samantha Chinyoka.

Samantha is a Renewable Energy Engineer and Projects Director at Mweya Green Energy that works towards mitigating climate change through a holistic approach that ensures sustainable socio-economic development. She is a Student Energy Fellow and an IEEE Xplore Author. 

Ritah learnt that in the long run we shape our lives and shape ourselves.Take chances make mistakes thats how you grow. Her mentor also told her to embrace her uniqueness and to be grateful always.

Meet our #WomanCrushWednesday -@just_h.a.z.e, Actu Meet our #WomanCrushWednesday -@just_h.a.z.e, Actuarial Science student at the University of Zimbabwe, 3rd year. She has an interest in mathematics, financial markets, travelling, tutoring, Church and hanging out with her friends. 

Through Tea In 60, Tadiwanashe was mentored by our inspiring mentor @nyarietasa. Lynette is an actuarial professional with over 10 years of experience in Zimbabwe's general insurance & healthcare industries. She holds a BComm (Hons) in Actuarial Science and an MSc in Applied Actuarial Science. Quite passionate about the development of the actuarial profession in Zimbabwe, Nyaradzai volunteers with the Actuarial Society of Zimbabwe. 

Tadiwanashe learnt that good grades matter as well as networking with people in the same industry as you. She also learnt that she should brand herself well for career progression and the best way to do that is through being knowledgeable about her field of study, the new technologies entering the Actuarial field as well as investing in knowing all the necessary programmes that an aspiring actuary (R, python, power bi etc) needs to know.

This week we feature @hazelruth88, studying Banking and Finance at Midlands States University. She has an interesting finance, banking,and corporate investment and through Tea In 60, Ruth was mentored by our inspiring mentor Rumbidzai Amanda Bakasa. 

Rumbidzai is a vibrant professional with experience in Banking, Research, Business Development, and Actuarial Consultancy. 

Ruth learnt that anything can be achieved through dedication and hard work. She also learnt that networking is very important. Rumbidzai was able to enlighten her on how to quickly develop meaningful relationships through attending functions that have more to do with her passion and skills. Developing professional networking will enable Ruth to gain access to other networks, more people from the banking and finance industry and new information.
